Here are just a few examples of who we've recently helped...
- Established in 1993, Youths and Families Matter is a locally based group providing front line services delivering welfare support to youths and families in the area who are at the point of need. They received £1365 to take disadvantaged families to Paultons Park. “Oh my goodness! I’m completely stunned…thank you so much for this!”
- Winchester City Penguins Swimming Club (WCPSC), a competitive swimming club providing inclusive training programmes taught by friendly, qualified, professional swimming teachers and coaches, received a donation of £890 towards play scheme sessions for children. "Thank you so much, that's amazing news. Our next playscheme is scheduled for half term so I'm so pleased we can go ahead with it now. Please accept our thanks for your kind support”
- Working to improve the lives of children with autism, The Playhouse Foundation provides the opportunity to have intensive education home programmes in the critical early years, supporting individual needs. They received a donation of £6,000 towards therapy costs. “I cannot express just how thrilled we all are at The Playhouse Foundation to have received such a huge donation from the Community Fund Committee - thank you so much for your generosity! This will mean so much to those families that we support and funds will go directly into the services that we offer as part of their bursaries.”
